75-Year-Old Man Defiles His 11-Year-Old Granddaughter

The Plateau State Police Command on Friday in Jos, the state capital, presented to newsmen a 75-year-old grandfather, Umoru Choji, allegedly caught defiling his granddaughter. The Eagle Online reports:

The Commissioner of Police, Nasiru Oki, who presented the suspect, said Choji had confessed to having canal knowledge of his under-aged granddaughter “several times”. According to the Commissioner, the suspect

claimed that his granddaughter had always slept with him on the same bed, a situation he said tempted him to have s*x with her.

Choji, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria after he was presented, said the little girl started asking for more “after the first act. “The girl has been on my neck because she derives satisfaction in sleeping with me and I had no choice but to satisfy her.”

He blamed his incestuous act on the pressure from his granddaughter and appealed to his wife and children to forgive him. He promised never to commit the crime again. Oki said the case would be investigated by the State Criminal Investigation Department, after which Choji would be charged to court.
