Alleged Burglar Hides Under Bed For 3 Days

A man accused of sneaking into a New Jersey home proceeded to hide under the bed in a spare room for 3 days, police say.

Jason Hubbard allegedly entered the home on Ellenel Boulevard in Spotswood, where police said he also charged all 4 of his cellphones from an electrical outlet he found while under the bed.

Details from the May incident were released yesterday morning.

Hubbard allegedly slipped into the home while the Middlesex County homeowner was taking out the garbage, and remained under the bed undetected for 3 days until the homeowner heard a sound from the family’s spare room, the Spotswood Police Department said in a news release.

Yobe Police Parades Notorious Robbery Gang For Terrorizing Motorists On Nguru-Kano Highway

The Police Command in Yobe on Friday said it had smashed a notorious gang of armed robbery suspects terrorising motorists and commuters on the Nguru-Kano federal highway.
The Commissioner of Police in Yobe, Mr Danladi Markus, who presented the gang to the public in Damaturu, said the robbers were arrested after an operation on the highway where a commercial driver was killed.
He said the gang targeted businessmen from local governments in the northern part of the state as they went back home after business trips to Kano.
He said, “In this particular incident, the suspected robbers attacked a businessman who was returning to Nguru from a business trip in Kano, where he purchased some wares.
“The suspected robbers mounted a road block, opened fire on the vehicle, killing the driver while the businessman sustained injuries”.

Hackers Take Control Of Internet Enabled Jeep Driving On The Highway

A pair of security experts showed the dangers of a Fiat Chrysler Automobiles security flaw by taking control of a Jeep on the highway. Security experts Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek said they used a laptop computer and a cellphone on the Sprint network to exploit a security hole in Fiat Chrysler’s Uconnect Internet-enabled software to disable the engine and brakes on a Jeep Cherokee while Wired reporter Andy Greenberg was driving on a stretch of highway in St. Louis. The crisis rocking the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control has taken a new twist as the redeployed former Finance Director, Ademola Mogbojuri, on Sunday, accused the agency’s Director-General, Dr. Paul Orhii, of corruption.
